Biological age

Is There a Free Biological Age Test?

Short answer

Yes. Aevon Health's Biological Age Calculator is free and produces a Levine PhenoAge-style estimate from standard blood panel values, and the free 3-minute Health Assessment produces a lifestyle-based estimate with no bloodwork required. Laboratory epigenetic clocks are the paid alternative and generally cost well over a hundred dollars per test.

Three ways to get a number

  • Free, no bloodwork: the Aevon Health Assessment estimates biological age from sleep, fitness, nutrition, stress, energy, habits and body composition inputs in about three minutes.
  • Free, with existing labs: the Biological Age Calculator uses values from a standard blood panel you may already have from your physician.
  • Paid laboratory testing: epigenetic (DNA methylation) clocks require a mail-in sample and are processed by a lab.

Which one should you use?

If you have recent labs, use the blood-marker calculator — it is grounded in measured physiology. If you do not, start with the lifestyle assessment; it captures the behavioral drivers you can actually change and gives you a baseline to re-test against.

Whichever you choose, stay with it. Comparing across methods is the most common way people confuse themselves.
